"The Ghost That Told Me To Flush The Toilet"
"When I was 10 yrs old my brothers grandma had just passed away (my brother and I have the same dad different mom’s).
My dad, brother, cousin, and myself went to her house a week or so later to clean it out for inheritance purposes.
We had gone through everything and packed it all up.
Me and my dad went to go get some food for everybody while my brother and cousin stayed at the house and cleaned some things up.
While me and my dad were on our way to the burger place, my dad said laughingly that he felt like his ex-mother in law was there watching us pack her things.
I said I didn’t notice anything watching us, and he laughed and said "You’ll understand what I’m talking about when you’re older."
We got back with the food and we all ate and then started to leave.
Everybody was standing out at the truck and my brother made the comment (laughingly) to my dad the he felt like she was in there making sure we didn’t hurt any of her things.
My dad said he felt the same way. He laughed and said the old woman never did trust him, even when he was married to her daughter. They all laughed about it and I thought nothing of it.
I told my dad to wait for me because I had to go back in and use the bathroom. No one followed me in there so I know I was by myself.
I went back in and used the bathroom.
When I got done I figured nobody lived there anymore so I didn’t flush the toilet.
I zipped up my pants and started to walk out.
But before I got out of the bathroom I heard an old voice tell me, “Flush that toilet!"
I looked around, became scared out of my head, flushed the toilet and ran out.
My brother asked me what was wrong because I ran out, and all I told him was I just thought we were in a hurry.
Years later, when my brother and I were talking about ghosts, I told him about his grandma.
He laughed and said the one thing his grandma hated, was when one of the kids (or anybody for that matter) used the bathroom and didn’t flush the toilet.
When people die they don’t leave, they just don’t sleep, eat and breathe anymore like we do."
